IN MEMORY OF
MORGAN JAMES IVIE
stillborn May 17, 2008.
by Juli Elaine Ivie....I will always love you, my sweet boy... :
Iím just a precious little one
who didnít make it there.
I went straight to be with Jesus,
but Iím waiting for you here.
Many dwelling here where I live
waited years to enter in.
Struggled through a world of sorrow,
a world marred with pain and sin.
Thank you for the life you gave me,
it was brief but donít complain.
I have all Heavenís Glory,
suffered none of earthís great pain.
Thank you for the name you gave me.
Iíd have loved to bring it fame.
But if Iíd lingered in earthís shadows,
I would have suffered just the same.
So sweet family Ė donít you sorrow.
Wipe those tears and chase the gloom.
I went straight to Jesusí arms
from my loving Motherís womb.
This poem was read at Morgan's funeral on May 22, 2008 in Corsicana, Texas
