IN MEMORY OF
 LACEY MAY

born October 31, 1999 and died February 3, 2000.
Remembered by every one who's life you touched:
Come To Me
God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not meant to be.
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered "come to me."
With tear filled eyes we held you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We couldn't beg you to stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Tiny, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

God gave you your daughter,
For such a little while.
He put a bit of heaven,
In the sunshine of her smile,
And though she left so quickly.
That your hearts are grieved and sad.
We know she lives with God,
And her small heart is glad.
And though your precious darling
Was just a rosebud small.
'll bloom in all her beauty,
On the other side of the wall.

The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the doctors nurses and staff at The Children's Hospital of Buffalo, Ny for their care and compassion during Lacey's illness and passing. Everyone there went above and beyond the call of duty. Becoming personally attached to Lacey and her family. They truly are the unsung heros and I know they became a part of Lacey's family. Thank you so much.
