IN MEMORY OF
MACEY JEAN LEONARD
miscarried March 29, 2000
by Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, and all the rest that were so anxiously awaiting you:
Although we never got to hold her, see her take her first steps, hear her first words or even hear her cry, she still made an impact on all our lives. She weighed 51/2 ounces and was 6 inches long, small for being 23 weeks along. This was caused by an abnormality that caused her stomach and intestines to be in a little pouch on the outside of her body, robbing her frail little body of any nutrients going into the umbilical cord that was connected in the right spot. Her daddy had just seen her move 2 weeks before and and her maternal Grandma was there to see her precious Grandchild for the first time when they discovered the abnormality in my ultrasound. The next day the doctors induced my labor and after 10 1/2 hours of labor there was our little girl that would never look into our eyes and and smile. There is so much more I would like to include in this, but it is still so hard to without breaking down and crying.
