miscarried June 2, 2000.
Remembered by Mommy, Daddy, and sister Emily:
Our second pregnancy, I was silently rooting for a boy, as we have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old daughter. When the ultrasound technician told us we were carrying a boy we had such elation and tears of excitement. However, twenty minutes later when the doctor came in and began to explain that Nathaniel's chances for survival were worse than bleak, our elation turned into terror. By interrupting the pregnancy, we know that we spared our son enormous pain and suffering, and acted out of true love. Our baby was so longed for and so loved, and always will be. Letting him go was the most painful experience I could ever imagine. We love you, Nathaniel and thank you for blessing us with your spirit for the time that you could.
