IN MEMORY OF
JORI BERTOMEN

miscarried 21 September 2005.
Remembered by Mommy and Daddy:
Jori - I carried you for over 5 months and your daddy and I were so excited to have you in our lives. Each day we would find ourselves loving you more and more. We could tell from the Ultrasound that you were active and healthy and that you had your daddy's profile. Your daddy and I were especially excited when we discovered you were a girl. A multitude of family and friends were excitedly anticipating your arrival. When I unexpectedly went into labor, they were not able to prevent your premature birth. You were alive and we got to hold and cherish you for a few brief moments before releasing you into God's care. You were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We don't understand why you were taken from us prematurely and our hearts ache from the loss. We are heartbroken that you are not in our arms now, but know that God's arms are stronger and more comforting than ours could ever be. He is the perfect parent and we take comfort in knowing you are safe with Him. We will always love you deeply and will never forget you - our precious first born daughter.
